Since October 2011 I have been blogging on www.vintagerunways.blogspot.com I started blogging as a way of therapy sounds strange I know but it was my escape and a way to express myself. My blog started out being a diary for my love of fashion and being a model however I was fortunate to get noticed and started getting invited to events and working with brands. I have worked with the likes of: Chanel, Kate Spade, Talulah, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge, Wildfox, Victoria Secret, West LA Boutique, Lancome and Starbucks. In addition I have been a brand ambassador for: Topshop, Jack Wills, Reiss, Blackberry, One Piece and YSL. From that I have been lucky enough to meet influential like: Jude Law, Brad Goreski, Yasmin Yusuf, Rita Ora, Poppy Delevigne, Peter Pilotto, Henry Holland, Amber Le Bon, Bip Ling, Danni Minogue, Christian Louboutin, Angela Missoni, Miroslava Duma and Giuseppe Zanotti. I have also been featured within the press including Harpers Bazaar Magazine, EditZ Magazine, Emirates Woman Dubai, Ahlan Magazine, OK Magazine, Grazia Magazine, Savoir Flair, Rotana Magazine and Pose Magazine. I was also nominated for Grazia's Best Style Blogger in the Middle East 2 years running.
Regarding my actual career I started modelling at the young age of 10 however my first every modelling job was when I was 2 if that even counts. However I have modelled with Giuseppe Zanotti - the man himself, Prada, Elle Magazine, Inas Couture, Boutique 1, Furne Amato, Blue Marlin Ibiza, Ok Magazine, Marina Qureshi, Bloomingdales, Ted Baker, Philip Lim and more. From this I was fashion editor for a magazine called 181 and I have also interned for Viva Magazine and Roksanda Illincic. Oh and btw I am just 18.
I was extremely lucky to achieve all of this while living in Dubai, it wasn't easy and took a lot of work but it was fun, now I am back living in London and am an art student doing a Foundation at Central Saint Martins and doing my BA in Summer. Now is my chance to reinvent myself here in London and show you a more personal side to me including videos.
Now I have decided to 'collaborate' you may say with someone I love and who is a very talented human being - Oscar. This blog is now about a couple, the ups and the downs, we want to try and make our generation believe in love again.
